Battle Line and recruiting trail rivals Arkansas and Missouri are among the teams competing for a Texas wide receiver’s commitment.

Duncanville wideout Roderick Daniels included the Hogs and Tigers in a top eight he shared on Sunday via his Twitter account. Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas, SMU, Arizona State, Colorado, TCU and Minnesota also made the cut.

The 5-9, 160-pounder has 24 scholarship offers. He is rated 3-stars, the No. 86 Texas-based recruit, No. 102 wide receiver and No. 675 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. Daniels is coming off of a junior season that earned him District 8-6A Offensive MVP recognition as Duncanville went 15-1 and finished runner-up in the state.
