One of the top overall prospects in the 2021 recruiting cycle is getting closer to making his final decision.

Five-star Miami native Jason Marshall announced on Friday he’s currently focusing on five programs moving forward: Alabama, Florida, LSU, Miami and Oregon.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Miami Palmetto product is rated as a five-star prospect, the No. 3 cornerback in the country and the No. 30 overall prospect for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. When his high school career comes to an end, Marshall is committed to participating in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game.

During his high school at Miami Palmetto, Marshall had 44 tackles, 15 pass breakups and five interceptions. During the spring, before the NCAA shut down recruiting visits, Marshall most recently visited Florida and Miami unofficially.

Wherever he ends up, Marshall is so highly rated, he may just be the highest-rated prospect on that team’s recruiting board for the 2021 recruiting cycle by the time the Early Signing Period arrives.
