With the prevalence of the NCAA transfer portal these days, players are moving around at an unprecedented rate.

But, some conferences still have limits on whether or not players can transfer without penalty to schools in the same league.

On Monday, though, the Pac-12 became the latest Power 5 conference to eliminate its intraconference transfer rule. That means Pac-12 players can transfer from 1 Pac-12 school to another without having to sit out a year:

A couple of months ago, the ACC eliminated its intraconference transfer rules. It seems to be moving toward a college landscape where that becomes the norm.

Could the SEC be the next conference to follow suit? We’ll see what happens as the offseason goes on.
