Trevor Etienne, one of the top running backs in the 2022 class, trimmed his list of college choices to five Wednesday.

Making the cut for the 5-foot-10, 205-pounder from Jennings, Louisiana are Clemson, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and LSU.

While Etienne’s list has a strong SEC flavor, Clemson obviously cannot be discounted.

After all, Etienne’s older brother, Travis, was an All-American for the Tigers who piled up more than 4,900 rushing yards and 70 touchdowns in his four years at Clemson before being selected with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The younger Etienne, meanwhile, was a first-team all-state selection after rushing for more than 1,200 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior.

He’s rated in the 247 composite rankings as the No. 14 running back in the nation and the 12th best prospect in Louisiana’s 2022 class.

Here’s a look at what one of five schools will add to their roster should they be able to land Trevor Etienne.
