Paul Finebaum made his weekly appearance on SportsCenter on Sunday morning, discussing the top storylines from Week 3.

He was asked about his most disappointing team so far, and he named 2 squads that made the College Football Playoff a year ago — Ohio State and Clemson.

But, he gave the edge to the Tigers, saying Dabo Swinney’s squad has no offense to speak of this fall:

“It’s almost a tie between Ohio State, Oklahoma and Clemson, but I’m going with Clemson for this reason. Their defense is fantastic. It’s not giving up anything. But the offense — well, let me correct myself. What offense?! They have no offense. We were told DJ (Uiagalelei) was going to fill right in where Trevor left off. He hasn’t been able to do that because there are so many problems on the offensive front,” Finebaum said. “I mean, they weren’t playing Georgia yesterday; they were playing Georgia Tech, which lost to (Northern) Illinois a couple weeks ago. That was simply an inexcusable performance all around.”

Indeed, Clemson’s defense is great. The defense hasn’t allowed a touchdown all year, as Georgia’s lone touchdown in the Week 1 win was a pick-6.

The big problem right now is that Clemson’s offense does not look like it can lead the Tigers through even a weak ACC schedule without a loss.
