New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has become a popular figure already among fans and media members.

In a Wednesday news conference when two Boston reporters,Christoper Gasper of WCVB-TV and Dan Roche of WBZ-TV both ask him a question at the same time, Jones joked and said, “Rock, paper, scissors.”

Then he continued to answer questions:

So far as the Patriots’ starter, Jones is 1-1 and has thrown 1 touchdown with no interceptions. Jones is being highly praised not only by the media but by his coaches as well.

Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, when asked if he trusted Jones to run his offense and make deep throws downfield, said this week via NFL.com:

“I trust him completely,” he said, “Believe me, there’s not a whole lot we’re holding back for him.”

Jones may need to get use to this kind of attention because if he keeps winning, his star is only going to rise in New England.
