Travis Hunter says he is solid in his commitment to Florida State, but Kirby Smart and the Georgia staff aren’t giving up on signing the 5-star recruitment. Smart arrived in style for a Thursday night visit with Hunter, taking a helicopter to North Gwinnett for the Collins Hill game.

Hunter, a Collins Hill standout, isn’t playing after his recent injury.

Smart’s trip to the game follows a report that Hunter is expected to take another visit to UGA.

Following that report, Hunter tweeted for the first since Oct. 1, stating he remains firm in his pledge to the Seminoles.

Hunter, from Suwanee, Georgia, is rated the No. 2 overall recruit in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. He is graded as a cornerback on 247Sports, though Hunter has also displayed his elite pass-catching skills as Mizzou pledge Sam Horn’s top wide receiver.
