The 2022 NCAA Tournament will be here before we know it, and several SEC squads should make the field of 68 teams.

On Monday, CBS Sports expert Jerry Palm updated his bracketology, and he has 7 SEC squads in the field as things stand now.

He still has Auburn as a 1-seed, despite the Tigers’ loss at Florida on Saturday. Here’s how the other 6 SEC squads stack up:

  • Auburn — No. 1 seed (Midwest)
  • Kentucky — No. 2 seed (East)
  • Tennessee — No. 4 seed (South)
  • Alabama — No. 4 seed (West)
  • Arkansas — No. 6 seed (East)
  • LSU — No. 7 seed (West)
  • Florida — No. 12 seed (West)

There are 2 weeks left in the regular season for teams to make their moves. Then, conference tournament weekend is here, followed by Selection Sunday.

We’ll see which of the above teams can improve their seeds in the next few weeks and which teams falter down the stretch.
