The NCAA Baseball Tournament field will be announced on Monday and, as usual, several SEC teams are expected to make the cut.

On Sunday, as many leagues were preparing for their conference title games, Baseball America released its updated projections.

As you can see below, 8 SEC teams are expected to make the cut, with 4 earning the right to host their own regionals. Meanwhile, 3 other SEC squads find themselves on the wrong side of the bubble currently:

  • Tennessee — No. 1 seed (No. 1 nationally)
  • Texas A&M — No. 1 seed (No. 7 nationally)
  • Florida — No. 1 seed (No. 14 nationally)
  • Auburn — No. 1 seed (No. 16 nationally)
  • Georgia — No. 2 seed (North Carolina regional)
  • LSU — No. 2 seed (Notre Dame regional)
  • Vanderbilt — No. 2 seed (Louisville regional)
  • Arkansas — No. 3 seed (Oklahoma State regional)
  • Ole Miss — First Four Out
  • Kentucky — First Four Out
  • Alabama — Next Four Out

Reigning national champion Mississippi State, South Carolina and Mizzou were the 3 SEC teams not mentioned in the above projections.
