Deion Sanders is building an FCS powerhouse at Jackson State, having gone 11-2 (with an 8-0 record in the SWAC) in 2021.

Now, he’s making additions to his coaching staff ahead of the 2022 campaign, and it seems he’s targeted a former SEC assistant and Power 5 head coach.

Per Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Sanders is hiring Tim Brewster, who was most recently the tight ends coach at Florida under Dan Mullen, to his staff:

Brewster was the head coach at Minnesota from 2007 to 2010, amassing an overall record of 15-30. He has since served as an assistant at Mississippi State, Florida State, Texas A&M, North Carolina and Florida.
