Police are investigating claims that 2 women were spotted going topless at the Utah game in Week 2, which the Utes won 73-7 over Southern Utah.

According to KUTV, the women were allegedly wearing nothing but body paint above the waist during the game:

Two women at the University of Utah football game were topless in the stands on Saturday, wearing little if anything above the waist but body paint.

University spokesman Christopher Nelson told 2News Sunday night the women were asked by two female police officers to put on their shirts, and they complied.

One mother attending the game, Melea Johnson, told KUTV that it was shocking to see:

“They had a haphazard, just kind of sloppily painted on their back, and we’re like, is that all they’re wearing? We didn’t know, and our first instinct is we have our kids with us and oh my gosh, we have to shield them,” Johnson said.

The university has issued a statement to ticket holders:

“We want to be very clear that profanity, public intoxication, rude and disrespectful behavior, racial and derogatory comments or verbal attacks directed at individuals or groups will not be tolerated. Anyone who engages in unsafe or inappropriate conduct will be removed from the premises, may lose all privileges and access for future university events and could be reported to law enforcement,” the letter continues. “We encourage all of you to help us identify and call-out inappropriate behavior so that our event staff can ensure a safe and great experience for our student-athletes, coaches, staff and spectators. If you see something, say something!”
