The college baseball rankings for the week of April 17 were dropped Monday with the latest top 25 from D1 Baseball. This week, a lot of turnover shook up the top 25 with 5 teams dropping out of the poll.

Included in that group is Tennessee after going 1-3 last week. The Vols were swept on the road against Arkansas while getting outscored 18-7 by the Razorbacks.

At the top of the conference, the SEC’s 4 highest-ranked teams all had solid weeks. LSU, Florida and Vanderbilt all went 3-1 for the week while Arkansas went 4-1.

LSU continues to be anchored into the No. 1 overall spot after a series win over No. 13 Kentucky. The Wildcats were competitive on the road and took one game 13-10 in the series, but LSU still took 2 out of 3.

South Carolina held onto its No. 6 ranking on the poll despite a series loss to Vanderbilt over the weekend. The Gamecocks took the first game of that series but were outscored 14-9 in back-to-back losses to the Commodores.
