Joe Lunardi says multiple SEC teams improved their NCAA Tournament stock in midweek action.

ESPN’s bracketologist shared a Thursday update. Lunardi now has Tennessee as a No. 1-seed after the Volunteers notched a 20-point win over LSU.

While Auburn picked up a big win over Alabama on Wednesday night, it did not change things for either team’s Big Dance outlook. Lunardi still has Alabama as a No. 3-seed (No. 9 overall) and Auburn as a No. 4-seed (No. 13 overall).

Lunardi does not currently have South Carolina among the top 16 teams, but that could change. The Gamecocks have moved into the next group in Lunardi’s latest bracketology.

Texas A&M was not mentioned in Lunardi’s tweeted update, but Buzz Williams’ squad has also improved its stock. The Aggies had been on the bubble as one of the Last Four Byes, but have been removed from that grouping after winning 79-60 on Wednesday at Mizzou.

As far as bubble watch goes, Lunardi has Ole Miss and Florida in the Last Four Byes group. Mississippi State had been a Last Four Byes team, but MSU is now with the Last Four In, indicating the Bulldogs would have to play before the Round of 64.

Saturday’s schedule has 13 teams in action over seven games. Ole Miss is off this weekend, while Kentucky takes a break from conference play to face Gonzaga.
