Alumnus of both Auburn and Alabama. Oh my, how did that happen?

A great man and a great coach. Congratulations coach, and best of luck.
1. Does it matter? Really ?? 2. Maybe neither school got robbed. At all.
Would love to see Alabama go all the way, but I don't see them beating Michigan. Not that any rationalization actually makes sense, but, Liberty blows out New Mexico State, New Mexico State blows out Auburn, Alabama barely beats Auburn. I see Michigan and Texas in the final and that one could go either way. But what do I know? I failed to predict the winners of every major championship match. First time ever.
They don't have to explain anything. It is simply their judgment, not ours. They don't even have to be consistent, as "judgment" can change from week to week. It is what it is, a system that sometimes works well and sometimes doesn't. So "we" can argue all we like and it won't change anything.
For Caleb Williams to even be on the list makes a mockery of the word "integrity" ...
I also watched that game. Utah didn't just beat USC, they dominated. And Caleb Williams has no more decency or character than a doorknob. And my apologies to the doorknob. So, shame on AP.
I agree poor sportsmanship should be a factor, but Williams is also not the best player.
Nothing wrong in Freeze bringing in folks he knows and trusts, but Cadillac still needs to be in a "senior" position, with real responsibilities. And for those who worry about "integrity" ( usually without understanding the concept ) may I offer the following. That there are those who are wholly corrupt and lack integrity. That there are those who have made some serious mistakes and are unable to learn and grow. That there are those who have made some serious mistakes and do actually learn and grow. That there are those who have made mistakes, but not serious ones. That only leaves those who "think" thet haven't make mistakes. They are only fooling themselves. I wait to see which "category" Freeze falls into.
Okay, so he wasn't my first choice but now it is done and we have to get on with it, to do the best we can under the circumstances. I don't care for his past, and we all have our flaws, but here's hoping he has learned something along the way and that this all works out for the best.
Maybe it's just my imagination, but it seems like more and more of these "small" teams are playing very well indeed. I used to laugh at teams like Liberty and Coastal Carolina. Now might just have to take them more seriously. Of course they don't play in the big leagues every week, but they can beat a good team every now and then.
Minneapolis and Pittsburgh, among others, are not college towns in the same sense as Auburn or Tuscaloosa. I have been to both the Minnesota and Pitt campuses. Both campuses are like mini-college towns, but only if you pretend not to be surrounded by the big city. Auburn feels to me like a college town no matter where I go out and about. And the same is true for many of the SEC college towns I have been to. But hey, we are all biased. My list would be quite different from yours and theirs. So what does it really matter?
If you like the lights, I am happy for you. I have been watching Bama football since 1965 and I will not watch any more televised Bama home games. It's a distraction, makes it hard to focus on the actual football game. Like the blue turf at Boise State. A real turn off. Come on Bama, you do not need gimmicks to entertain us.
