National Signing Day is on Feb. 4 and the SEC is primed to bring in another impressive haul of top recruits in the 2015 recruiting class.

In the next 25 days, Saturday Down South counts down the top 25 recruits either committed to the SEC or strongly considering SEC schools.

No. 18 Maea Teuhema

Position: Offensive Guard
247Sports ranking: No. 36 overall; No. 7 overall in Texas
Committed: LSU

The skinny: Maea Teuhema is one of the most complete offensive linemen in this year’s class, but he may be the biggest road grader of them all. At 6-5, 340 pounds, Teuhema has the size and frame to be a future first-round pick. Add in his quickness and agility, and it’s easy to see why so many coaches coveted Teuhema’s ability. Any time LSU can dip down into Texas and pull out a top 50 prospect like Teuhema, you’re doing something right. Former offensive lineman Les Miles always has elite offensive linemen develop into top NFL prospects, and Teuhema could be his next.

Freshman projection: LSU offensive line coach Jeff Grimes has to be licking his chops for Teuhema to get on campus. While his run blocking is as elite as it gets, LSU will need to work on his pass blocking. But that’s just part of the development process. Nonetheless, Teuhema has all the tools in the shed to make an impact in his first year. It’s tough for linemen to make impacts as freshmen, but several former Tigers have done it in their first season. Could Teuhema be the next?
