The 2019 NFL Draft is just around the corner, and that means it is mock-draft season.

On Tuesday, NFL.com analyst Charley Casserly — a former NFL general manager — released his updated first-round mock draft, and he thinks a dozen former SEC stars will hear their names called.

As you can see below, he has Kentucky EDGE Josh Allen leading the way at No. 3 overall, with Mizzou QB Drew Lock bringing up the rear at No. 32 as the heir apparent to Tom Brady with the New England Patriots:

  • No. 3 — Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky — New York Jets
  • No. 5 — Devin White, LB, LSU — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 6 — Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama — New York Giants
  • No. 7 — Jawaan Taylor, OL, Florida — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 8 — Montez Sweat, EDGE, Mississippi State — Carolina Panthers (trade with Detroit)
  • No. 16 — Deandre Baker, DB, Georgia — Detroit Lions (trade with Carolina)
  • No. 18 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 19 — D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 22 — Greg Little, OL, Ole Miss — Philadelphia Eagles (trade with Baltimore)
  • No. 24 — Irv Smith Jr., TE, Alabama — Oakland Raiders
  • No. 26 — AJ Brown, WR, Ole Miss — Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 32 — Drew Lock, QB, Mizzou — New England Patriots

Nine of those players will be in Nashville for the draft, as will LSU DB Greedy Williams and Alabama RB Josh Jacobs.

How many will end up going in Round 1? We’ll find out at the end of the month.
