The Missouri Tigers haven’t recruited the state of Missouri very well in recent years, but that could all change if they land a big-time receiver out of St. Louis for their 2019 class.

On Sunday, 4-star 2019 WR Marcus Washington announced his top-six schools, and the home-state Tigers made the cut.

However, Georgia also is among the top six, as you can see in the post below on Washington’s Twitter page:

Georgia and Mizzou will compete with Texas, Oregon, Ohio State and Florida State for Washington’s services, and it’ll be interesting to see which team he chooses.

According to the 247Sports composite, Washington is the No. 9 wide receiver in the class of 2019 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of Missouri.
