The 2023 NFL Draft projections are heating up around the country ahead of the NFL Combine starting in Indianapolis later this month.

On Monday, NFL.com’s Chad Reuter released his 3-round mock draft, and his Round 1 projections featured 10 SEC stars.

He had the Houston Texans trading up with the Chicago Bears to draft Alabama QB Bryce Young. Here are the rest of his SEC-related Round 1 projections:

  • No. 3 — Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 4 — Will Anderson Jr., Edge, Alabama — Chicago Bears
  • No. 5 — Will Levis, QB, Kentucky — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 13 — Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida — New York Jets
  • No. 14 — Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia — New England Patriots
  • No. 19 — Brian Branch, DB, Alabama — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 24 — Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 25 — Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 27 — O’Cyrus Torrence, OL, Florida — Seattle Seahawks
