With the NFL Scouting Combine coming up at the end of the month, it’s now officially time for NFL teams to start preparing for the 2018 Draft.

Once again, there are sure to be plenty of SEC players who hear their names called in the first two days of the event, which will take place in Dallas this year.

On Tuesday, NFL.com analyst Chad Reuter released a three-round mock draft, and had 24 SEC players going in the first two days of the draft. He was a little lower on SEC first-round talent than other analysts, having only five players going on day one.

However, as you can see below, he had an SEC-heavy second round:

Round 1:

  • No. 5 — Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama — Denver Broncos
  • No. 10 — Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia — Oakland Raiders
  • No. 13 — Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama — Washington Redskins
  • No. 19 — Da’Ron Payne, DL, Alabama — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 28 — Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama — Pittsburgh Steelers

Round 2:

  • No. 33 — Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 34 — Martinas Rankin, OL, Mississippi State — New York Giants
  • No. 35 — Derrius Guice, RB, LSU — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 38 — Sony Michel, RB, Georgia — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 40 — D.J. Chark, WR, LSU — Denver Broncos
  • No. 44 — Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama — Washington Redskins
  • No. 52 — Arden Key, OLB/DE, LSU — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 54 — Donte Jackson, DB, LSU — Kansas City Chiefs
  • No. 56 — Taven Bryan, DL, Florida — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 58 — Isaiah Wynn, OL, Georgia — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 59 — Carlton Davis, DB, Auburn — San Francisco 49ers
  • No. 61 — Hayden Hurst, TE, South Carolina — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 64 — Da’Shawn Hand, DL, Alabama — Cleveland Browns

Round 3:

  • No. 76 — Lorenzo Carter, OLB/DE, Georgia — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 77 — Frank Ragnow, C, Arkansas — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 79 — Braden Smith, OL, Auburn — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 83 — Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 84 — Daniel Carlson, K, Auburn — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 95 — John Kelly, RB, Tennessee — New England Patriots

After the Combine, there will likely be some shuffling to these mock drafts, but for now, this is a good look at how SEC players are being viewed by NFL squads and analysts.
