Four-star athlete Malcolm Askew released a new top 10 Sunday with four SEC schools, including Auburn as the overall leader.

The McAdvory High (McCalla, Ala.) product has long been pegged as a future SEC player, with various recruiting experts foreseeing him sign with Alabama, Auburn or Georgia on 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions. UGA is noticeably absent from the new top 10, but Mark Richt’s Miami Hurricanes make an appearance. Alabama trails the Tigers and Ole Miss, with Florida right behind at No. 6.

Auburn and Tennessee were the two most recent visits for Askew, both in April. Since then, Louisville and TCU have attempted to get in the mix. The Horned Frogs come in at No. 4, but the Volunteers and Cardinals are absent.

Askew’s highlights indicate that if the 5-foot-11, 183-pound athlete is deemed too small for wide receiver – though he shows good hands and speed – he’s also a capable cornerback.
