The NCAA Softball Tournament is moving right along, and now the 16 teams that will advance to the super regionals are set.

It was an interesting start to the tournament, as all 16 teams that hosted regionals ended up advancing to the next round.

The SEC had all 13 teams make the tournament field, with six of those teams ranked high enough to host regionals. Thus, six SEC squads advanced, while seven saw their seasons come to an end:

Advanced to super regionals

  • No. 5 — Florida
  • No. 8 — Alabama
  • No. 10 — LSU
  • No. 11 — Ole Miss
  • No. 12 — Tennessee
  • No. 14 — Kentucky

Eliminated

  • Mizzou
  • Mississippi State
  • Auburn
  • South Carolina
  • Georgia
  • Arkansas
  • Texas A&M

The super regionals start on Thursday, May 23, and will be best-of-three series. No. 5 Florida will host No. 12 Tennessee in the one all-SEC super regional.
