The 2019 NFL season is rapidly approaching, and former SEC athletes are likely to make an immediate impact for their new teams.

Already, some analysts are projecting the All-Rookie team for this fall, and in NFL.com analyst Chad Reuter’s projections, eight first-year former SEC stars are listed.

As you can see below, three offensive players, four defenders and a special teams player are listed in Reuter’s All-Rookie projections:

  • Josh Jacobs, RB, Oakland Raiders
  • Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers
  • Greg Little, OL, Carolina Panthers
  • Jachai Polite, EDGE, New York Jets
  • Devin White, LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Josh Allen, LB, Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Deandre Baker, DB, New York Giants
  • Mecole Hardman, KR/PR, Kansas City Chiefs

All of these guys are in advantageous situations, so now it’s just up to them to make the most of them.

We’ll see who shines and who struggles when the 2019 NFL season kicks off this September.
