The Big 12 makes the wrong kind history in the 2021 NFL Draft
The Big 12 isn’t helping itself with this news.
The conference has been around since 1996 but has never gone a single NFL Draft without having one of its players selected in the first round.
That is until now.
Last night came and went without a single player from the Big 12 hearing his name called. Every other Power Five conference had at least one player selected in the draft.
Big 12 = ZERO 1st Round Picks
Only Power 5 conference to be shut out of the 1st round since at least 2000

Interestingly, one fan blamed the league’s lack of success in the draft on media coverage.
The lack of media represtation kills us. Every other comferemce has coastal teams and extremely large cities, but the BIG12 is right smack in farmland. We don't have worse players, we just dont have as many teams and don't have enough media coverage to hype up our players

Someone should tell this guy that North Dakota State has had two quarterbacks drafted in the top three in recent years despite minimal media presence.
