Here’s one bold prediction for every SEC bowl game:

Texas Bowl: LSU vs. Texas Tech – The Tigers know that Texas Tech will be focused on trying to stop RB Leonard Fournette. Tech’s run defense is ranked No. 125 in the FBS and likely in for a long night. With the Mad Hatter on the sidelines, look for QB Brandon Harris to throw two touchdown passes in the first half.

Birmingham Bowl: Auburn vs. Memphis – The current betting line has the over/under set at 62.5. Auburn’s defense is without its coordinator (Will Muschamp) and secondary coach (Travaris Robinson). That’s a big problem, because Memphis QB Paxton Lynch can air it out (3,670 yards, 28 touchdowns this season). These two teams will score more than 40 total points in the first half.

Belk Bowl: Mississippi State vs. North Carolina State – It’s far from the finish they wanted this season, but the Bulldogs are about to drop 50 points on the Wolfpack. The MSU offense will play lights out for QB Dak Prescott in his farewell game. Look for head coach Dan Mullen to go for some big scores early.

Music City Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Louisville – Pencil in QB Jake Hubenak for Music City Bowl MVP. Take one look at Hubenak’s Twitter feed, and it’s clear he’s about as psyched as one can get for a non-championship bowl game. With a supporting cast full of stud receivers, Hubenak will be able to go out and give Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin a reason to smile for the first time in months.

Cotton Bowl: Alabama vs. Michigan State – A lot is being made of Michigan State QB Connor Cook as the best Alabama has faced this season, but Crimson Tide QB Jake Coker will come away with the more impressive stat line. While the Spartans do their best to contain Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry, UA offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin will burn them with WR Calvin Ridley.

Outback Bowl: Tennessee vs. Northwestern – Tennessee had its statement bowl game a year ago, the TaxSlayer Bowl against Iowa. UT won that one 45-28 by putting the game away early. The Volunteers are probably less excited about playing in another pool of six bowl. A flat start will cause UT to trail this one at halftime.

Citrus Bowl: Florida vs. Michigan – On paper, the Gators and Wolverines look destined for a low-scoring battle. With the pressure off – no more SEC title or playoff bid to worry about– watch UF QB Treon Harris log his best performance since Week 7  (17-of-32, 271 yards, 2 TD vs. LSU).

Sugar Bowl: Ole Miss vs. Oklahoma State – The Rebels secondary that has struggled to defend the passing game in the second half of the season will come up with multiple turnovers that tip a Superdome shootout in Ole Miss’ favor.

TaxSlayer Bowl: Georgia vs. Penn State – There may not be many coaches left in Athens right now, but Georgia QB Greyson Lambert and WR Malcolm Mitchell are going to make sure the Bulldogs’ season ends on a high note with the senior wideout notching 100 receiving yards in his final game.

Liberty Bowl: Arkansas vs. Kansas State – KSU underwhelms when it comes to both executing and defending a passing attack. The over/under line for this game is hovering around 55-56 points. The Razorbacks are good for 42 of those points, with Arkansas QB Brandon Allen unloading on the Wildcats.
