With Oklahoma’s hopes for an undefeated season dashed after losing to Texas in the Red River Shootout, the Sooners’ stock is way down. Meanwhile, the Fighting Irish stock continues to go up. And it’s starting to look more likely we’ll see two SEC teams in the final four, again.

ESPN college football reporters Andrea Adelson, Edward Aschoff, Adam Rittenberg and Mark Schlabach shared their picks for the CFP final four with Week 6 in the books.

All four have Alabama as the No. 1 seed with Ohio State and Georgia also making the semifinals. Aschoff thinks Clemson will still make the CFP while the other reporters predict Notre Dame will earn a spot.

The CFP selection committee won’t release its first rankings until after the Week 9 games, Tuesday Oct. 30. We’ll see if the ESPN reporters’ picks change over the next three weeks.
