The SEC will enter a new era next season, and ESPN is gearing up to reveal the new 16-team conference schedule.

The network will run a two-hour special of the 2024 SEC football schedule, as new members Texas and Oklahoma prepare for their transition from the Big 12 to the SEC.

The special will air at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday on ESPN and the SEC Network, breaking down the 2024 schedule for each of the 16 SEC programs.

ESPN’s 2024 SEC Football Schedule Reveal will feature “SEC Nation” host Laura Rutledge, along with ESPN college football commentators Joey Galloway, Greg McElroy and Tim Tebow. Paul Finebaum and various guests will provide additional commentary.

Wednesday’s special will also provide insight from select SEC coaches, as they react to the upcoming schedule for the expanding SEC.

Opponents for the 2024 season were revealed over the summer during a special on the SEC Network. Each of the SEC teams next year will have 8 conference games, plus a required opponent from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 or a major independent.

In recent days, some marquee games have been revealed, including games involving Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and LSU.

Starting next season, the SEC will eliminate divisions. The SEC Championship game will feature the top 2 teams in the conference at the end of the regular season.

The SEC title game is scheduled for Dec. 7, 2024 on ABC.
