Transferring is becoming more and more common in college football. Some players even transfer twice. De’Andre Johnson has just announced he will transfer a third time.

Johnson’s college career originally began at Florida State in 2015. The quarterback committed to the Seminoles in 2012. He was dismissed from FSU, however, after video emerged of him punching a woman at a Tallahassee bar. He landed at East Mississippi Community College and was featured prominently on the hit Netflix show “Last Chance U.”

After his season at EMCC, Johnson transferred to Florida Atlantic to play for Lane Kiffin. Now that he has graduated from FAU after two seasons, Johnson plans to transfer again, an announcement he shared on Twitter.

Johnson played in eight games for the Owls in 2018. He was 13-of-23 passing for 161 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also ran the ball 35 times for 178 yards and a touchdown. He appeared in four games in 2017.
