Week 4 of the college football season saw a lot of top teams hit the road for some big conference matchups.

In the aftermath of Saturday’s action, there were a few teams and individuals who stood out for their huge performances.

According to ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, though, Alabama’s 59-0 destruction of Vanderbilt in Nashville only ranked third among the best team performances of the week, while Texas A&M WR/KR Christian Kirk’s heroics earned him the No. 2 spot on Herbie’s list of best individual performances:

Kirk caught two touchdown passes (including the game-winner in overtime) and also ran a kickoff back for a touchdown in the Aggies’ thrilling win over Arkansas.

With plenty of big matchups on the schedule for this coming weekend, it’ll be interesting to see who steps up and who falters in Week 5 action.
