LOOK: Falcons fans can't believe Steve Sarkisian is still their OC after abysmal Week 1 showing
When you visit the defending Super Bowl champions to kick off the season and hold them to only 18 points in their home stadium, you should win that game.
However, the Atlanta Falcons failed to do that on Thursday night in Philadelphia, falling to the Eagles 18-12 and looking inept on offense.
A lot of that blame falls on former Washington and USC coach (and ex-Alabama assistant) Steve Sarkisian, who is the Falcons’ offensive coordinator.
Fans haven’t been happy with Sark in a while now, but after Thursday’s disappointment, that vitriol reached a new level. Check out some of the angry tweets directed at Sark below:
Falcon fans: hey Dan Quinn fire Steve Sarkisian!

Me: "It would be impossible to spend an entire offseason studying the red zone mistakes you made all last season and not be able to fix them when you have a top 10 QB and a top 5 WR, right?"

If Steve Sarkisian owned a funeral parlor, no one would die.

Steve sarkisian is by far the worst offensive coordinator i ever seen. How do you make 5 trips to the red zone and only score 12 points

I want Steve Sarkisian out as offensive coordinator. No reason you can’t score or create mismatches with the talent Atlanta has. No excuses.
