It just so happens that the 2019 NFL Draft is being hosted in a Southeastern Conference city. Considering the dominance of the draft by college football’s best conference, the NFL may as well just hold its annual selection process in an SEC city every year to cut down on travel costs for the majority of the players set to be picked during the draft.

If you were unaware, the 2019 NFL Draft is being held in Nashville from Thursday, April 25, 2019, through Saturday, April 27, 2019. According to ESPN NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper, the SEC will be featured early and often once NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell begins calling names from the podium.

Kiper recently teased the top five in his latest 2019 NFL mock draft and four of the five players at the top hail from the SEC.
