The top 2020 recruit in the state of Mississippi appears to be set on playing in the SEC West. The only question is where will he go.

George County DT McKinnley Jackson shared a top five via his Twitter account on Saturday. The one-time LSU pledge is still interested in the Tigers along with Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Listed at 6-2, 327 pounds, Jackson is the No. 1 Mississippi product, No. 10 defensive tackle and No. 111 prospect overall nationally in the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. The five schools listed hosted Jackson on visits this spring and summer. He previously visited Clemson last fall (Nov. 17, 2018) and FSU in February, but neither ACC program made the cut for the top five.

At a regional edition of Nike’s “The Opening” competition camp, Jackson recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.99 seconds, a shuttle time of 4.91 seconds and a vertical leap of 26.00 inches. He has 20 scholarship offers.
