Following an outstanding season last fall, Quinnen Williams is off to the NFL, which means there will not be a repeat Outland Trophy winner next season.

While that may be true, it appears the SEC has a great chance to take home another Outland Trophy as the league has 13 players listed on the preseason watch list for the award. The Big Ten also had 13 players on the list but no other conference has more 13 players named to the list.

The award annually honors the top interior lineman in college football, on either side of the ball.

The 74th winner of the Outland Trophy will be announced during the Home Depot College Football Awards show on Dec. 12, which will be broadcast nationally by ESPN.

Here are the 13 SEC players listed on the 2019 Outland Trophy watch list:

  • DT Quinton Bohanna, Kentucky
  • DT Derrick Brown, Auburn
  • OL Solomon Kindley, Georgia
  • DT Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina
