If you missed it, we have released our SDS Week 6 picks on Wednesday evening. In addition to those selections, we like to bring you the weekly predictions from The Power Rank as you head into your weekend.

If you are unfamiliar with The Power Rank, these numbers come via Ed Feng’s analytics system, known as The Power Rank. Feng’s metrics used have accurately predicted the winners of college football games from the 2015 season to the 2017 season 73.7 percent of the time — with an overall record of 1679-598. That number is even more impressive when you factor in that The Power Rank does not pick FBS games against FCS competition.

Last weekend, The Power Rank accurately predicted six of the seven SEC games on the schedule, missing only the Florida-Mississippi State game.

Here is how The Power Rank predicts every Week 6 SEC game for the coming weekend:

  • Texas A&M will beat Kentucky by 4.0 points at home. The Wildcats have a 38 percent chance of winning this game on the road in College Station.
  • South Carolina will beat Missouri by 3.0 points at home. The Tigers have a 41 percent chance of winning this game on the road in Columbia.
  • LSU will beat Florida by 2.5 points on the road. The Gators have a 43 percent chance of winning this game in front of the home crowd in Gainesville.
  • Auburn will beat Mississippi State by 4.0 points on the road. The Bulldogs have a 38 percent chance of winning this game at home in Starkville.
  • Alabama will beat Arkansas by 22.4 points on the road. The Razorbacks have a six percent chance of winning this game in Fayetteville.
  • Georgia will beat Vanderbilt by 26.9 points at home. The Commodores have a four percent chance of victory in Athens.
  • Ole Miss will beat UL-Monroe by 16.1 points at home. The Rebels have an 87 percent chance of victory playing in Oxford this weekend.
