After previous stints as the defensive coordinator at Mississippi State and Florida, Geoff Collins landed the Temple head coaching job prior to the 2017 season.

However, it appears he’s already on the move again. After interviewing at Georgia Tech recently, it seems the Yellow Jackets are offering him the job.

Jeff Schultz of The Athletic reported that Collins would be named the Georgia Tech head coach on Friday:

Collins has led Temple to a 15-10 record the past two seasons. He and the Owls finished 8-4 this regular season.

It’s safe to say his style will be much different than the retired Paul Johnson, who employed a triple-option attack during his time in Atlanta.
