Rob Gronkowski may be suiting back up in 2020.

The All-Pro tight end from the New England Patriots is reportedly interested in unretiring after sitting out last season.

The news was first reported by NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. Perhaps just as interesting as Gronkowski’s desire to return is the fact that the All-Pro wants to join forces with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay.

Rapoport tweeted this information on Tuesday, “Sources: Retired Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski has told New England that he’s interested in playing football again — and would want to do it with the Bucs and QB Tom Brady. A trade would have to be worked out for this to happen.”

This news has also been reported by ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter.

Gronkowski would only be 31-year-old in 2020 and had an entire season off to rest his injured back that forced him to retire by the end of the 2018 season.

For his NFL career, Gronkowski has 521 catches, 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns and has been named All-Pro four different times.
