SEC Network analyst crushes SEC hater in one tweet
The SEC has been dominant for the past decade (and then some), but there are still plenty of haters out there.
Fortunately, there are also guys like SEC Network host Peter Burns out there to shut down those haters with cold, hard facts.
When someone came at Burns on Twitter on Monday afternoon, he fired back with the SEC’s national championship record and the current AP Poll standings, thoroughly winning any argument to be had:
They’ve played in 11 of the last 12 national championships.
They won 9 of those 12, by 4 different teams.
They have 8 teams ranked in the Top 25 for the 14th time in poll history, something no other conference has ever done even once.
Close the door on the way out please. https://t.co/aDafdrp30H

Burns wasn’t quite done, though, following up with the SEC’s incredible run of producing NFL talent:

Well done, Peter. And let that be a lesson to the haters — stop the SEC’s run of dominance before you start talking trash.
