The SEC realistically has two teams with a chance to make the College Football Playoff — No. 1 Alabama and No. 5 Georgia.

Those two teams will meet in the SEC title game, and the winner will almost certainly be guaranteed a spot in the final four. From there, though, the rest of the conference is a huge jumble of teams that are good, but not great.

Still, the updated, post-Week 11 S&P+ rankings have an impressive eight SEC squads cracking the top 25. As you can see below, Alabama is No. 1 and Georgia is No. 3, with Vanderbilt bringing up the rear at No. 83:

  • No. 1 — Alabama
  • No. 3 — Georgia
  • No. 18 — LSU
  • No. 19 — Mississippi State
  • No. 20 — Auburn
  • No. 21 — Texas A&M
  • No. 22 — Florida
  • No. 23 — Mizzou
  • No. 48 — Kentucky
  • No. 49 — South Carolina
  • No. 60 — Ole Miss
  • No. 70 — Tennessee
  • No. 82 — Arkansas
  • No. 83 — Vanderbilt

With only two weeks left in the regular season, it’ll be tough for teams to improve their standing too much, but check back next week to see where each SEC squad stands following Week 12.
