Week 1 uniform review: Recapping Saturday's wildest uniforms
With one college football game left to play Monday night at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia, let’s look at some of the most interesting — and awful — uniform options that made their debuts during Week 1.
What was Louisville thinking with its ‘Uncaged’ alternates inside the Georgia Dome against Auburn?

Not only was the Angry Bird logo on one side of the helmet comical, but the Old English font on nameplates was executed terribly.

Virginia’s new chrome helmets glistened in the California sun at UCLA, but Bruins true freshman quarterback Josh Rosen knifed his way through the Cavaliers’ secondary for 351 yards and three scores to spoil the reveal. At least the helmets stayed true to tradition (with new chrome accents):
Adidas’ debut for Arizona State was its best look, despite the Sun Devils’ play in Houston against Texas A&M. Here’s the ‘Desert Ice’ alternate:

It’s not a weekly uniform update without peeking at Oregon’s updated 2015 line. The Ducks wore a familiar volt-black-volt combo against Eastern Washington, though multi-colored jersey feathers and partial chrome helmets are subtle additions.
Reflective numerals are unique, but not at Nike’s flagship:
