Report: Texas officially fires head coach Charlie Strong
As expected, Charlie Strong was officially fired on Saturday morning.
The Texas Longhorns will now be in the market for a new head coach following a disappointing 5-7 season that featured an embarrassing overtime loss to Kansas:

Houston coach Tom Herman is the leading candidate to land the Longhorns’ job after LSU hired interim coach Ed Orgeron on Saturday morning.
Texas will likely have to pay quite a price for Herman, who asked LSU for $6 million per year to come to Baton Rouge.
