Georgetown junior LB Ty Williams was paralyzed after suffering a neck injury in a 2015 game.

Williams dove to try and get a loose ball and ended up fracturing his vertebra. Following the collision, Williams attempted to push himself back up but couldn’t move any of his extremities.

After rehabbing from his injury, Williams walked for the first time in two and a half years Saturday at graduation. With the help of a large brace and a walker, Williams strolled across the stage and hugged school president Jack DeGioia.
