The 2019 NFL Draft is in the books, and once again, the SEC showed out.

For the 13th year in a row, the conference had more picks than any other conference in college football.

This year, once again, it wasn’t even close. As you can see in the totals below, the SEC had 64 picks and the second-place Big Ten only had 40 players chosen:

Power 5 conference breakdown

  • SEC: 64
  • Big Ten: 40
  • Pac-12: 33
  • ACC: 28
  • Big 12: 26

Don’t get fooled into thinking this SEC run of dominance is going to be over anytime soon, either.

Next year should be the 14th year in a row the SEC leads the way, but we’ll see what happens during the 2019 college football season this fall.
