The Early Signing Period is behind us, with the traditional signing day for senior high school football recruits set for Feb. 5. That doesn’t mean that current juniors are waiting to pare down their own lists.

On Tuesday, Washington, D.C. defensive tackle Taizse Johnson released his top 6 schools on Twitter. Four SEC teams were included: Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Texas A&M. Ohio State and Maryland are the other 2 vying for his services.

The 6-foot-1, 290-pounder is considered by 247Sports to be the No. 13 defensive tackle in the class and the 195th-ranked player nationally regardless of position. He doesn’t have a long list of offers—only 12—but it is certainly a who’s who of college football programs.
