The 2020 NFL Draft has college football fans thinking more about former players than future players right now, but there’s always something going on in the world of recruiting. On Friday, Frisco, Texas, tight end Elijah Arroyo shared a top 10 that includes 5 SEC schools.

Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M join Arizona State, Miami, Penn State, SMU and USC in the Independence standout’s top 10. Arroyo is rated 3-stars, the No. 24 tight end, No. 80 Texas product and No. 620 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. South Carolina was also among the 24 scholarship offers but did not make the cut for the top 10.

The recruitment of Arroyo will have multiple coaches recruiting against familiar foes, per his 247Sports recruiting profile. Former Georgia offensive coordinator James Coley is Arroyo’s primary recruiter at Texas A&M. Former Auburn OC Rhett Lashlee is Miami’s primary recruiter. Former Aggie assistant Jeff Banks is leading Alabama’s effort to land the Lone Star State standout.
