October will be here before we know it, and that is when the 2020 NBA Draft will be held after being pushed back from its original date in June.

When the festivities do finally commence, a handful of SEC stars are expected to go in Round 1.

On Monday, CBS Sports experts held their latest mock draft, and as you can see below, 5 SEC standouts were chosen in the first 30 picks:

  • No. 3 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Detroit Pistons
  • No. 7 — Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn — Chicago Bulls
  • No. 14 — Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt — Portland Trail Blazers
  • No. 15 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Orlando Magic
  • No. 19 — Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama — Milwaukee Bucks

We’ll see what sort of pre-draft workouts teams will be able to hold, but for now, this is a good look at how things stand as we move through July.
