No matter what recruiting service at which you look, the SEC has as many as 10 programs in the top-25 and seven in the top-14 of the 2015 rankings.

While you may or may not put a lot of stock into rankings, there’s no question the SEC recruits better than any other conference in the country.

With National Signing Day less than a month away, Saturday Down South looks at the top 20 prospects at each position group and how many will or could play for SEC teams in 2015.

Editor’s Note: Below is a list of the consensus top 20 quarterbacks across all three major recruiting services: 247Sports, Rivals and Scout.

Quarterbacks: The 2015 class is a star-studded quarterback class, however, only 30 percent of the class are headed to SEC programs.

Uncommitted Targets: Sheriron Jones is the only uncommitted prospect in the top 20, and its likely he’ll end up in the SEC.

Top 20 quarterbacks

1. Josh Rosen, UCLA — Rosen’s the top quarterback in the country and will look to compete to replace Brett Hundley at UCLA.

2. Jared Stidham, Baylor — The nation’s top dual-threat quarterback is headed to Baylor, where he’ll look to continue the trend of signal-callers under Art Briles.

3. Blake Barnett, Alabama — Barnett arrived in Tuscaloosa this week after impressing coaches and analysts during last week’s Under Armour events.

4. Kyler Murray, Texas A&M — By all indications, Murray will forego a professional baseball career and head to Texas A&M to compete with the top signal-caller of the 2014 class, Kyle Allen.

5. Ricky Town, USC — Town is the first quarterback head coach Steve Sarkisian has signed and based on Saturday’s Army Bowl, he’ll be a good one.

6. Torrence Gibson, Ohio State — Urban Meyer used his Florida ties to snag this talented quarterback and, based on the situation with the Buckeyes this season, Meyer may just be the best quarterback coach in the country.

7. Brady White, Arizona State — The four-star quarterback played well in Saturday’s Army Bowl and could be an instant impact player for the Sun Devils.

8. Travis Waller, Oregon — Marcus Mariota exits Eugene following Monday’s national championship game and the Anaheim, Calif., native looks to step in for the Ducks.

9. Drew Lock, Missouri — Maty Mauk will be the starter for the Tigers in 2015, but Lock could be one of the best quarterbacks to suit up for Mizzou.

10. Deondre Francios, Florida State — Francios is undersized, but showed his physical tools during Friday’s Under Armour game.

11. Brandon Wimbush, Notre Dame — Wimbush got significant playing time at last week’s Under Armour event and will heat up the quarterback competition in South Bend.

12. Jake Browning, Washington — At 6-foot-2, 185-pounds, Browning is the prototypical quarterback for head coach Chris Petersen and could be the best Huskies signal-caller since Jake Locker.

13. Sam Darnold, USC — The San Clemente, Calif., native is a big, strong pocket passer and will crowd the quarterback controversy at USC with Town.

14. Ty Storey, Arkansas — Storey arrived on campus this winter and according to reports, is grasping the playbook already and should develop into a good quarterback in Fayetteville.

15. Kai Locksley, Florida State — Locksley joins a crowded Seminoles quarterback situation, but looks to make an early impression this fall.

16. Tyler Queen, Auburn — Queen is the only quarterback in the Tigers’ 2015 class and isn’t the most talented, but has big upside.

17. Lorenzo Nunez, South Carolina — If Nunez was an early enrollee, the Kennesaw, Ga., native could make the quarterback competition interesting. He arrives this summer, but has star potential for the Gamecocks.

18. Alex Malzone, Michigan — Malzone is an undersized pro-style quarterback, but the Bloomfield Hills, Mich., native should welcome the coaching of Jim Harbaugh.

19. Sheriron Jones, uncommitted — The Rancho Verde star is an explosive playmaker under center, and as it stands currently, Butch Jones is the favorite to land him at Tennessee.

20. Brett Rypien, Boise State — The Spokane, Wash., native is a four-star prospect who is a big pickup for the Broncos.
