National Signing Day is on Feb. 4 and the SEC is primed to bring in another impressive haul of top recruits in the 2015 recruiting class.

In the next 25 days, Saturday Down South counts down the top 25 recruits either committed to the SEC or strongly considering SEC schools.

No. 3 Martez Ivey

Position: Offensive Tackle
247Sports ranking: No. 2 overall; No. 1 overall in Florida
Committed: Down to Auburn and Florida

The skinny: Martez Ivey is the Cameron Robinson of the 2015 recruiting class. As you know, Robinson started as a true freshman for Alabama and would probably be a first-round pick in this year’s draft, and Ivey is made from the same mold. Perhaps he’s more athletic than Robinson. His 6-6, 275-pound frame oozes NFL potential, and he could start game one. Ivey’s frame, quickness and footwork stands out on film, and he’s a road grader everyone would love to have.

Freshman projection: Should Ivey sign with Florida, he’ll likely start game one at left tackle. Auburn has much more depth already on campus, and the Gators are in need of depth at the position. His 275-pound frame will add weight as soon as next season, and he projects similarly to Laremy Tunsil and the aforementioned Robinson. Ivey will play in his first season. How much and what impact he may have just depends on whether Florida or Auburn is his destination.
