Sleeper Fantasy is a great option for DFS players looking to get in on the fun as the men’s college basketball season heads toward tournament play.

There are only a few games left for each SEC squad, and that action continues on Tuesday night with a trio of matchups. Here’s a look at the SEC schedule for Tuesday, February 27, 2024:

  • No. 16 Kentucky at Mississippi State — 7 p.m. ET on ESPN
  • Georgia at LSU — 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network
  • Vanderbilt at Arkansas — 9 p.m. ET on SEC Network

Will we see any surprising results? Can Kentucky pick up a résumé-building road victory? Can Georgia and Arkansas get their seasons back on track?

There are plenty of storylines for tonight’s action. We’ll see what happens once the games officially begin!

My Picks for SEC Men’s Hoops Action, Feb. 27

Rob Dillingham, Kentucky: Higher than 18.5 points+rebounds+assists

The electric Kentucky freshman has been playing really well in his last 2 outings. In a blowout win over Alabama on Saturday, he posted 22 points+rebounds+assists. On Feb. 21 at LSU, he dropped 24 PRA. He’s a versatile athlete who can be a top scorer when his team needs him (23 points against LSU) and can make crisp passes when the need arises (16 points, 4 assists vs. Alabama). I like him to have at least 19 PRA tonight in Starkville, as Mississippi State doesn’t have enough depth to stop all of Kentucky’s weapons. Dillingham and his teammates should have plenty of room to make plays, even if this game turns out to have significantly fewer points than Saturday’s win over Alabama.

Noah Thomasson, Georgia: Higher than 13.5 points

Thomasson has been scoring at a high clip lately, posting 18, 17 and 26 points in his last 3 outings against Auburn, Vanderbilt and Florida, respectively. He only scored 11 points against LSU back on Jan. 24, but that was in the midst of a slump of sorts for the Georgia guard. He’s a bigger part of the offense now and he’s been hot lately. I like him to ride that recent momentum to at least 14 points tonight in Baton Rouge.

Ezra Manjon, Vanderbilt: Higher than 20.5 points+rebounds+assists

Manjon has been up and down with his game lately. He’s alternated between posting 21+ PRA and not reaching that mark in his last 4 games. Well… he’s due tonight! And against a struggling Arkansas team, he should be able to find success. Arkansas has the No. 121 defense in the country and plays at the 55th-fastest tempo, per KenPom. What does that mean? Lots of opportunities for Manjon to make plays against a not-so-great defensive squad. I like him to have a solid effort, win or lose, tonight in Fayetteville.

How Many Picks Should You Make?

Sleeper uses a dynamic multiplier system, so each pick you make is worth a different “multiplier.” You can craft contests that go all the way up to a 100x multiplier, where a $5 entry fee would net a $500 victory.

Personally, I like to stay between 5x and 10x with my multipliers so I have a better chance of winning. A 3-leg contest with the 3 picks I detailed above features a 5.34x multiplier. Thus, my $5.30 entry fee (I had an extra 30 cents, don’t judge me) would earn $28.30 if all 3 picks are correct:

Make as many picks as you’re comfortable with, just make sure to finalize your contests before tipoff of an exciting Tuesday night slate of games!
