Kyler Murray likely just made himself a lot of money.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner was going to be picked apart if he measured in smaller than anticipated heading into the NFL Combine but the former Sooner quarterback hit the mark on every category during the measurements portion of his visit to Indianapolis on Thursday.

Here are the official measurements the NFL lists for Murray:

  • Height: 5-10 1/8
  • Weight: 207
  • Hand: 9 4/8
  • Arm: 28 4/8
  • Wingspan: 69 4/8

The most important measurement was Murray’s height, which some thought would be under 5-foot-10. His slight frame is also something some speculated could drop him but weighing in at over 200 pounds will be something NFL teams are eager to see. Murray’s hand size is also likely going to be something NFL teams like to see as small hands have been known to hurt some players’ stock leading up to their draft selections.

Now the question is how much can Murray help himself further at the Combine. Murray likely cemented himself as a first-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft with these measurements and the coming weeks and months will determine if he can rise all the way up to No. 1 as new Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury has stated his affection for the former Sooner quarterback in the past.
