Football is a sport that attracts some of the country’s biggest and fastest athletes, with running backs, wide receivers and defensive backs sometimes turning in some truly incredible 40-yard dash times.

However, referees generally aren’t considered to be as fit as the players (NFL ref Ed Hochuli and his massive biceps being one exception).

One referee in California, though, is changing the narrative about refs one blazing-fast sideline sprint at a time.

As you can see in the video below, the ref on the near sideline shows absolutely incredible speed while following a long running play all the way to the end zone:

Why he needed to sprint down the sideline that fast on a play in which the running back was easily going to score is anyone’s guess.

However, if you have wheels like that, you probably savor every chance you get to show them off.
