Texas A&M QB Kyle Allen is leading one of the conference’s top passing attacks, and the Aggies receivers are putting on a show. TAMU is off this week, but Alabama-Arkansas should feature some of the conference’s top pass catchers if both teams keep a balanced offensive game plan.

Season-to-date WR rankings

Based on what they’ve done from the openers to now, here’s a glance at how we would rank the SEC’s WRs:

Power ranking the SEC’s WRs after Week 5

10. Demarcus Robinson, Florida – Florida’s top target from last season finally showed out this season with a eight-catch, 98-yard performance Saturday night that included his second touchdown on the year. Against the Rebels, Robinson displayed the reliable hands and vertical leap of a true playmaker.

Last game: 8 catches, 98 yards, TD
2015 season: 28 catches, 251 yards, 2 TDs

9. Calvin Ridley, Alabama – Ridley earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors for his 120-yard game in Alabama’s 38-10 blowout of Georgia. Saturday might be looked back at as the breakout game for the talented freshman.

Last game: 5 catches, 120 yards, TD
2015 season: 22 catches, 245 yards, 2 TDs

8. Fred Ross, Mississippi State – Ross has yet to score a touchdown, but he’s pulling in receptions (33) at almost 10 yards per catch (9.8). The MSU wideout was QB Dak Prescott’s top target on Saturday against Texas A&M.

Last game: 11 catches, 103 yards
2015 season: 33 catches, 322 yards

7. Malcolm Mitchell, Georgia – The Georgia passing game is struggling, with QB Greyson Lambert benched for backup Brice Ramsey on Saturday, but Mitchell still managed 65 yards on three catches. Mitchell will definitely be the top passing target regardless of which quarterback plays.

Last game: 3 catches, 65 yards
2015 season: 23 catches, 371 yards, 3 TDs

6. Pharoh Cooper, South Carolina – Cooper cracked triple digits (102 yards) for the second time this season in USC’s 24-10 loss to Missouri. He might have a tough time getting another 100-plus yards this weekend against LSU’s secondary.

Last game: 9 catches, 102 yards
2015 season: 26 catches, 322 yard, 2 TDs

5. Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss – Treadwell didn’t have to go against UF’s top CB Vernon Hargreaves III as much as people predicted, but Florida cornerbacks Jalen Tabor and Quincy Wilson did a good job containing him on a rough night for the Rebels offense.

Last game: 5 catches, 42 yards
2015 season: 27 catches, 374 yards, TD

4. Trent Sherfield, Vanderbilt – Sherfield is one of only three SEC receivers in the 400-plus club through Week 5, but most of that is due to his monster game against Austin Peay two weeks ago (16 catches, 240 yards). Sherfield slides after another sub-100 game against Middle Tennessee.

Last game: 6 catches, 63 yards
2015 season: 34 catches, 465 yards, 2 TDs

3. Drew Morgan, Arkansas – Conference play seems to bring out the best in Morgan – he followed up his 155-yard game against Texas A&M with 110 yards on five catches in the Razorbacks’ 24-20 win over Tennessee. Arkansas is trying to find balance on offense, and Morgan will certainly be a key part of the passing game.

Last game: 5 catches, 110 yards,
2015 season: 23 catches, 413 yards, 3 TDs

2. Josh Reynolds, Texas A&M – Reynolds is climbing the wide receiver power rankings as his Aggies climb the conference power rankings. Reynolds passed the 100-yard mark (141) for the second time in as many weeks in the 30-17 win over Mississippi State.

Last game: 7 catches, 141 yards
2015 season: 18 catches, 383 yards, 3 TDs

1. Christian Kirk, Texas A&M – The lone SEC member of the 500-yard club (519) retains the top-spot in the power rankings even after being outdone by his teammate Reynolds. Kirk was unable to pull a third-straight 100-yard game, but still hauled in eight passes for 77 yards.

Last game: 8 catches, 77 yards
2015 season: 32 catches, 519 yards, 4 TDs
